Annotated Bibliography Reflection

I found the overall process of the annotated bibliography was boring. Although completing the annotated bibliography did allow for me organize my thoughts on each source that I used, I believe that there are better ways to organize information for a paper. Figuring out the format to write the source citations was a little confusing. The Purdue Owl site helped me learn how to format the citations. Because my topic has not been researched by others in great depth, most of my sources said the same things. Although this made writing the annotated bibliography easy, it forced me to analyze the information provided.

Topic Proposal Reflection

I decided to evaluate the evolution of the spread offense because I love football and because I have been curious about why the spread offense is being used. I have a passion and love for football which made it easy and fun to research and write my paper. I also chose this topic because I didn't find much information specifically about why the spread offense is seen in many offenses today. I became skeptical about choosing my topic after my preliminary research because there were only a limited amount of sources. A book that goes in depth on the history of the spread offense convinced me to keep my topic.
