Blog

I thoroughly enjoyed creating a blog over the course of this past semester. Professor Campbell mentioned a quote by Stephen King early in the semester "I write to find out what I think". I took this quote to heart while writing my blog. I sometimes wouldn't know exactly what the overall point of my post was going to be until the third paragraph. I also really enjoyed focusing on writing about the state of the education system. My dad, who is a middle school teacher, and I have discussed this topic thoroughly for many years. He enjoyed reading my views, and then sharing them with his colleagues. Although I didn't make this assignment my top priority this semester, this was the assignment that I enjoyed the most. I hope to continue writing on my blog after the conclusion of the class.

My favorite blog entry that I wrote this semester is titled "Climbing Mountains". This was one of my last posts, and what I believe to be my best post. I take great pride in my hometown and the valley where it is located. Many of my teachers and friends back home enjoyed reading this post and sharing it with others. This post sums up what I hope to feel at the end of the semester. Relieved and proud.

Favorite Entry #2

My second favorite blog entry that I wrote this semester is titled "School Should Not Be About Grades, But Rather An Education". This was the second blog post that I wrote this semester and the one that I spent the most time and energy writing. I feel very passionate about this subject. I have lived my college career on the basis that I am here to learn first and to get a good grade second. I value knowledge very highly and am seeking to gain more each and every day.
